Tour Itenary :

Day 01  Pangkalan Bun Airport – Kumai Harbor – National Park
Upon arrival in Pangkalan Bun airport, our local staff will pick you up, meeting service and take you to Kumai Harbor by air conditioning car for 20 minutes and then proceed to Tanjung Puting National Park area by traditional wooden river boat. It is 12m by 2,5m and called by “Klotok”, there is cabin, toilet and on upper deck, you can see natural view of National Park area while you enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with local snacks. After boating around 2 hours, you will be in Rimba Orangutan Eco Lodge. Just simple, you can choose to take dinner and over night at Lodge or on Boat.
Day 02  Lodge/Boat – Camp Leaky
After breakfast, we will travel up the river by Boat to see Orangutan feeding time in Camp Leaky feeding station and orangutan education center at 14:00. Before, we arrive in Camp Leaky you can observe river ecology and enjoy your lunch on boat while you see kind of wild animals on the river sides (Prosboscis Monkeys, Birds, Sun Bears, Kind of Macaque and Wild Orangutan). You can also enjoy sunset time with view natural of rain forest as long as river side, when you are on the way back. Take Dinner and over night at Lodge or on Boat
Day 03  Lodge/Boat – Pondok Tanggui – Reforest Station – Traditional Village
After breakfast, we will travel up the river by Boat or Klotok to observe river ecology and see wild life as long as river side then stop in Pondok Tanggui Feeding station to learn about Orangutan habitat and see the rangers feed them at 09:00. After you enjoy natural view in this area then proceed to Pesalat reforest station to look reforest daily activities and learn about the famous of ‘iron wood’. Take lunch on Boat or at Lodge and enjoy wild Animals activities as long as river sides. Take your free time on Boat or at Lodge for few hours then continue to Tanjung Harapan Feeding Station at 15:00, from this area we will proceed to Traditional Village of Tanjung Harapan to see villager activities. Enjoy natural river view on the way back, take dinner and over night at Lodge or on Boat.
Day 04  Lodge/Boat – Pondok Tanggui – Camp Leaky
After breakfast, we will travel up the river by Boat to see Orangutan feeding time at 09:00 in Pondok Tanggui Feeding Station then proceed to Camp Leaky feeding station to see other feeding time and orangutan education center at 14:00. Before, we arrive in both of feeding stations you can observe river ecology and enjoy your lunch on boat while you see kind of wild animals on the river sides (Prosboscis Monkeys, Birds, Sun Bears, Kind of Macaque and Wild Orangutan). You can also enjoy sunset time with view natural of rain forest as long as river side, when you are on the way back. Take Dinner and over night at Lodge or on Boat. ( If good weather you can enjoy Fireflies tours and take dinner on Boat)
